Boardwalkin Baby (Radio Edit)
Boarcwalkin' Baby (Radio Edit)
By Neural Music Theory
Lyrics Donald D. Dienst

The summer sun was shining, our spirits flying high,
We met down on the boardwalk, with your voice so dear.
Your smile lit up the midway, beneath the azure sky,
The ocean's song was calling, in this wonderland so near.

Boardwalkin' baby,
where the lights are bright,
Boardwalkin' baby
From the carousel to the starry night,
Boardwalkin' baby
Candy kisses in the warm twilight.
Boardwalkin' baby
With you by my side, everything feels right

The shops were full of treasures, the games were lined with gold,
Hot dogs and saltwater taffy, the taste of love so new,
We laughed and won some prizes, our stories would unfold.
In every twist and turn, our hearts just grew

BoardBoardwalkin' baby,
where the lights are bright,
(Boardwalkin' baby)
From the carousel to the starry night,
(Boardwalkin' baby)
Candy kisses, in the warm twilight.
(Boardwalkin' baby)
With you by my side, everything feels right

Underneath the pier, the music filled the air,
The waves whispered secrets, breezes carried the tune,
We danced to summer rhythms, beneath the rising moon,
Feeling in our hearts that summer would end too soon.

Boardwalkin' baby,
where the lights are bright,
(Boardwalkin' baby)
From the carousel to the starry night,
(Boardwalkin' baby)
Candy kisses, in the warm twilight.
(Boardwalkin' baby)
With you by my side, everything feels right

The games and rides behind us, the sea breeze in our hair,
The magic of the evening, the promise of what’s new,
We found a quiet corner, where we could simply share.
Underneath the starlit sky, just me and you.

We wandered to the shoreline, where the sand meets the sea,
Watched the ships in the distance, just you and me.
With our hearts so full and our dreams set free,
Boardwalkin' baby, it's just you and me.
Boardwalkin' baby, it's just you and me.

Down By The Sea
Down By The Sea
Modernized and edited by Donald D. Dienst
Inspired by the songs Under the sea-wall and Down by the sea Circa 1890 by Rebecca Ruter Springer (public Domain)

(Verse 1)
Down by the bay, where the sea birds play,
I can let the world drift away.
The aches in my bones, the weight in my chest—
All of it fades as I can finally rest.
The sunlit tide, rolling in, rolling out,
Washes away my fear, my sorrow, my doubt.
The waves speak softly like a whispered prayer,
With peace in the rhythm and peace in the air.

(Pre-Chorus)
Far on the horizon I see the ships go by,
Like memories sailing beneath the sky.
And the colors bloom in the evening light,
Like echoes of joy from another life.

(Chorus)
Down by the sea—down by the sea,
My spirit’s unchained and my soul’s set free.
The waves, they carry my heart away,
To brighter shores, to a bright new day.

(Verse 2)
I swear I hear voices from beyond the blue,
Calling me home, so soft, so true.
I search the sky, I scan the waves,
For the faces I’ve loved and the memories I’ve saved.
The glow in the west, starts to reveal
A golden world that feels more real
Than the shadows here and the weight I bear—
Like I’m almost there… I’m almost there.

(Pre-Chorus)
And even if it’s just a dream,
To me, it means more than what it seems.
The sea, the sky, they lift me high,
Above the dust, beyond the why.

(Chorus)
Down by the sea—down by the sea,
My spirit’s unchained, my soul’s set free.
The waves, they carry my heart away,
To brighter shores, to a bright new day.

(Bridge)
O sunset fire, O endless tide,
You take me where the saints abide.
Where love is whole and hope is wide,
And nothing’s lost and none must die. .

(Final Chorus – repeat with build)
Down by the sea—down by the sea,
My spirit’s unchained, my soul’s set free.
The waves, they carry my heart away,
To brighter shores, to a bright new day.
(Down by the sea—down by the sea…)
To brighter shores, to a bright new day…

Drifting to the Harbor
Drifting to the Harbor

(Verse 1)
The boats go drifting slowly, on a quiet summer sea,
Their sails hang loose and motionless, just swaying listlessly.
The harbor rests in silence, the waves are fast asleep,
A peaceful hush now lingers, where the waters used to weep.

(Pre-Chorus)
A bugle sounds so softly, beyond the fortress wall,
And far across the ocean, I hear the seabirds call.

(Chorus)
Oh, my life is drifting, drifting, lost upon the tide,
But the waves are calm, and music calls from the other side.
When my daylight fades, and time no longer flows,
I’ll drift into that harbor where the song of heaven grows.

(Verse 2)
The sunset colors vanish, the lighthouse starts to shine,
Yet still the melody lingers, on the water’s silver line.
The night is drawing closer, yet fear I do not know,
For the music keeps on calling, in the still and steady flow.

(Outro)
Drifting home, no fear, no sorrow,
Drifting where the dawn meets tomorrow.
Softly singing, voices rise,
Guiding me to endless skies.

Letters
Letters
By Donald D. Dienst

What have we lost when letters went away?
The steady hand that let our hearts speak in a thoughtful way.
Words that once carried us across distance and time,
Telling our story, written line by line.
So if I wrote a letter, here is what mine would say…

To my dearest granddaughter,
Right now you’re still so young.
May you grow to know your value,
And never trade your future for momentary fun.
Life can be a cruel teacher—don’t let your pain take control.
Love with abandon, but guard your heart;
For It’s the treasure of your soul.

To my dearest grandson,
I can’t wait to see the man you will become.
Grow strong and wise, and stand up for the weak and the young.
Know your worth, and walk the path you were always meant to run.
Life will test your courage—but always find and fill the need
Hold fast to goodness; keep yourself wholesome and free.
Your strength and kindness will shape the man you’re meant to be.

May you stand beside each other,
Be the shelter when storms rise.
Life is long and precious,
Yet it passes with surprise
Time is your currency to squander
Or invest before you die—
Spend it wisely on the ones you love,
And always know your why.

And if this world forgets to write
Or lets its wisdom slip away,
Let this letter be the lantern
You can carry through your days.

So while this world forgets its letters,
Let this one still remain—
A piece of me you can carry
Until we meet again

Snickerbella
Snickerbella

(Chorus )
Snickers snicker, baby baby Bella,
My snicker baby, baby baby boo.
Snickerbella, my teddy bear Bella,
Always there, no matter what I do.

(Verse 1 – Emotional Care Bella)
When I’m down, you know just what to do,
With your warm brown eyes and your love so true.
Cuddled close, you chase the blues away,
Snickerbella, you heal my day.

(Chorus)
Snickers snicker, baby baby Bella,
My snicker baby, baby baby boo.
Snickerbella, give me hugs and kisses too,
Be with my baby boo, you’re my baby boo.

(Verse 2 – Teddy Bear Bella)
Soft like a cloud, snug as can be,
Teddy bear Bella, you’re perfect for me.
Your half-bent ears, your bear-like face,
Brindle fur, my warm embrace.

(Chorus)
Snickers snicker, baby baby Bella,
My snicker baby, baby baby boo.
Snickerbella, give me hugs and kisses too,
Be with my baby boo, you’re my baby boo.

(Verse 3 – Sailing Buddy Bella)
Winds are high, but you stand so tall,
Brave little sailor, you fear no squall.
On the waves or on dry land,
You’re my first mate, my helping hand.

(Chorus)
Snickers snicker, baby baby Bella,
My snicker baby, baby baby boo.
Snickerbella, give me hugs and kisses too,
Be with my baby boo, you’re my baby boo.

(Bridge – New Version)
Half-bent ears like radar high,
Underbite grin and twinkling eyes.
Brindle fur so soft, so sweet,
Snickerbella, you make life complete!

(Outro – Final Version)
Snickers snicker, baby baby Bella,
Forever mine, forever true.
Snickerbella, I adore you,
You’re my baby boo, and I love you!

The Crystallizing Now
Our Crystallizing Time

The future is a vapor, elusive to the eye,
A cloud of raw potential drifting silent through the sky.
The present flows before us, our current deep and wide,
It carries all our choices as we wade against the tide.
But in that fleeting instant — the crystallizing now,
We cast our will upon it, though we scarcely realise how.
And once that moment hardens, our history has been cast —
As time takes shape and freezes, settling gently in the past.

Our choices shape the future as the molecules align,
As present turns to solid in the flowing stream of time.
Every choice sends a ripple with each step that we define,
As we try to guide tomorrow, one moment at a time.

We walk within a current that no hand can hope to stay,
Yet still we shape its motion by the things we do and say.
We cannot see the outcome, nor trace the final line,
But something of our presence leaves a pattern in the time.
Some moments pass unspoken, like a shimmer in the stream,
While others catch the sunlight like the remnants of a dream.
And though the flow moves forward, beyond what we can see,
Each choice becomes a crystal of who we’ve dared to be.

[Chorus Uplifting]]
Our choices shape the future as the molecules align,
As present turns to solid in the flowing stream of time.
Every choice sends a ripple with each step that we define,
As we try to guide tomorrow, one moment at a time.

We cannot stop the seasons or unfreeze what's come before,
But we can meet each moment as it knocks upon our door.
No future can be captured, no past can be undone,
Yet now is all that’s offered, where the work of life is done.

The flow of time surrounds us, though it slips through every hand,
A stream we cannot master, yet still try to understand.
We touch its living water with each word and deed we share,
And feel it turn to crystal in the moments that we care
Not every step is perfect, not every trial is won,
But even flawed intention adds its pattern to what's done.
And when our feet no longer touch the water’s flowing line,
It keeps a quiet echo of the choices that were mine.

Our choices shape the future as the molecules align,
As memory and meaning drift through every curve of time.
Each action leaves a shimmer in the current's flowing line,
Still trying to guide tomorrow, one moment at a time.

The past is etched in crystal, but the meaning isn’t done—
It shifts beneath the shimmer of the lives we’ve yet to run.
For time, though ever flowing, leaves no moment quite the same,
And futures lived with mercy can redeem regret and shame.
What’s frozen still remembers when we warm it with our light
And even silent histories can be finally made right.
